Found in the Dhofar Desert of Oman in 2004.  Over 200 Kg has been collected.
 
These micrographs are of this meteorite in thin section viewed in cross polarized (Xpol) light. 
 
Some of my micrographs of Xpol thin sections are not always deemed useful using current research techniques. I don't have the burden of having to explain anything I am looking at.  And I am the first to acknowledge, this is a luxury.  I am just chasing what looks cool and that's about it!  (At what ever magnification looks the best)
 
This set of micrographs starts at 240X and ends at approximately 1200X.
