Darwin Glass is from Mount Darwin Crater in Tasmania. Darwin Glass was formed from the heat of an impact event. The appearance of Darwin Crater glass is quite different. Instead of being a black glass it is a grayish green. It is found with folds and twists as well as masses the look like large drops. Darwin glass is one of the most interesting of the impact melt glasses available to collectors.
