Meteorites For Sale:
Welcome to the best place online to buy affordable meteorites found
my desert nomads in the Sahara Desert. The great Sahara Meteorite
rush that we are currently in has drove meteorite prices down by
more than 90% over the past five years. Seems like a great time to
start a meteorite collection. Don't want until the desert gets
hunted out and prices rise before you buy your own space rocks.
Rocks for sale on this website actually spent millions of years
floating around in Space. The perfect gift for kids of all ages,
rockhounds or Space buffs or as a great conversation piece for
yourself. You don't go to NASA if you want a rock from outer space.

Meteorite Classification Service:
The Bathurst Observatory and the University of Western Sydney is
pleased to announce a joint effort to classify common chondrite
meteorites. Classification will give the petrographic grade (ie:
L6, H5, LL4 etc) weathering, shock and Fa values. We hope to
start classifying achondrites at a later date but right now this
service is limited to chondrites. Analysis will be jointly done
by Prof Peter Williams at the University of Western Sydney and
Ray Pickard at the Bathurst Observatory. This is a new service
so we are still working on turnaround times and we are hoping to
speed up the turnaround time in the future but right now we are
running about three months. This is still faster that most labs
which will take one to three years on average when classifying
common chondrites.
