My collection may not be large or comprised of rare or expensive specimens but it is unique in that I have decided to collect 50mm spheres.

When I first started collecting in May of 2006 I thought I would be able to buy a variety of spheres but soon discovered that only the most abundant specimens, such as Gibeon and NWA 869, were available. So I decided to learn how to make them. I developed a new lest wasteful process for making spheres from iron meteorites and found a fantastic shop in Texas called The Rare Earth Trading Company that can work with any stone material.

I offer processing services on a limited basis so if you have a large specimen that you need cut into slices, polished, etched or rejuvenated send me an email, my fees are very competitive and if I’m interested in the specimen we may be able to work out a "labor for material" trade.

I have worked out similar agreements with a couple members from the Met List and can provide references.

If you have the time please check out my web site.

Thanks
